With the aim of providing a cross-industry automation solution for truck weighbridges, FRITZ & MACZIOL has developed a system solution for universal application in industry and trade. Together with the new standard terminal, the web-oriented software forms a platform for truck driver self-service on truck weighbridges. While VAS®-Solo may be operated as a stand-alone, it also offers interfaces to superior ERP systems such as SAP and Navision. A further feature is a matching disposition of orders for despatch or acceptance orders. Its modular design and consistent intercommunication of periphery and sensors facilitate individual linking of weighing systems, identification and camera systems as well as the activation of traffic lights and barrier systems. Thus, the system can be upgraded to a completely automated solution which will also allow conversion of existing weighbridge systems.
