Web 2.0 technologies facilitate 1.2 mill. transactions

The despatch automation software VASŪ from FRITZ & MACZIOL does the hard work in preparing the transport of bulk goods in the sack/bigbag or as a liquid material by HGV, rail or ship. In 2008 alone, over 1.2 million transactions were processed through the VASŪ customer systems. In order to be able to handle such amounts completely, punctually and correctly, the IAS team supports VASŪ customers with regular system and hardware maintenance. Additionally, technical support on the information and tracking portal is available round the clock by telephone or online. The number of transactions must be realised smoothly as planned. The sizing system is set up by technical presales in such a way in advance that several years of despatch data can be stored without any loss in performance. As one of the first suppliers of logistics software in the bulk goods sector, FRITZ & MACZIOL is now focussing on a browser-based automation system with Web 2.0 technologies. This means that users receive the application on the PC via their browser. The tried and tested Client Server approach is still supported.
