Paperless processing in the future for the expected 625,000 supply notes per year - and thus a substantial proportion of the total amount in Germany - within the REMONDIS Group (17,000 employees, one the world´s largest in the water and recycling management sector), as part of the legally required electronic waste management system, eANV, which was introduced in February 2007. REMONDIS Is being supported by the FRITZ & MACZIOL developed eANVportal®. REMONDIS will be integrating this as the central component in its software solution for the conversion process in order to meet eANV requirements.

REMONDIS has already been operating a self-developed waste management system for quite some time. It has been installed at the headquarters as well as at most waste disposal facilities in the company´s comprehensive network of 500 plants.
Independent of the software solution used, the electronic waste management system now has to be integrated at both the head office and external sites. The required scope of operations is provided by the highly efficient eANVportal®, eANVformular und eANVconnect instruments in the company-own software environment. Part of the software solution will be processed via IBM Workplace Forms. The program allows the creation, allocation and optimization of secure, dynamic and intelligent form-based processes.
Integrating the different systems into eANVportal® is carried out through Web Services. This allows all functionalities from these systems required for eANV operations to be used online. In order to be able to ensure the processing of electronic documents during delivery of materials to the plants even with a malfunctioning communication infrastructure, there is also an off-line possibility available. Fast response times for all components ensure easy and simple scalability of eANVportal®. A test version has been installed on REMONDIS´s own computer system to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
