After implementation of VASŪ at multiple sites of the world's largest calcium carbonate manufacturer, the template has now been expanded with the "Slurry loading" feature. The peculiarity here is that VASŪ can communicate via SPS (PLC) for loading with flow meter or using scales. Transport preparation is just as important. The preservative biocide must be added to preserve the slurry from the factory to the customer. To this end, VASŪ accesses the ERP data and queries the specified amount in ppm. Thus, VASŪ ensures the right amount in communication with the automation. The IAS Team got the order to develop a complete batch management on pallet level for the customer in Canada as a new requirement. This factory produces and packs bagged goods individually per customer with precise packaging specifications. VASŪ ensures that the pallet is scanned as soon as the forklift driver accepts it. The data go in real time to the ERP.
